  similar hands-on opportunities.\n\nIt is one of SGI’s core missions to su
 pport students in participating in these competitions by covering registra
 tion fees and making these high-impact learning experiences more accessibl
 e. These competitions — including ENGCOMM World\, McGill International Por
 tfolio Challenge\, the Annual Grand Challenge\, and Map the System — repre
 sent one of SGI’s five core pillars: supporting student participation in c

 lity\, Class of 2022).\n\nMap the System is a global competition organized
  by Oxford University’s Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. It chall
 enges students and educators to deeply explore complex social or environme
 ntal issues through systems thinking\, focusing not just on solutions\, bu
 t on understanding root causes\, key actors\, and relationships within the
  system. Participants present their research using visual systems maps and
  narrative analysis to inspire more impactful\, informed change. We are pr
 oud to announce that this year\, the team received exclusive sponsorship f
 rom Oxford\, which enabled the finalist team to present their research at 
 the University of Oxford from July 3 to July 6!\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWe are proud
  to announce that our event has been awarded Platinum Sustainable Event ce
 rtification by the McGill Sustainable Events program run by the McGill Off
 ice of Sustainability.\n
