MWP India Conference
Hosted by the McGill Centre for the Convergence of Health and Economics and INCLEN International Trust

June 22-24, 2012

The McGill Centre for the Convergence of Health and Economics (MCCHE) and the International Network for Clinical Epidemiology Trust International (the INCLEN Trust International) hosted a two and a half day high-level workshop in New Delhi, India, with the support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and MCCHE’s and INCLEN’s partners and sponsors on June 22nd -24th 2012.

The workshop brought together multidisciplinary representatives to address some of the complex and seemingly intractable challenges at the nexus of health, nutrition, agriculture, and wealth production, consumption, and distribution. It is part of an on-going initiative led by the two convening organizations to foster novel, action-oriented collaboration between science, policy, and innovation in all these sectors, capitalizing on business as a catalyst for real world change.
This highly successful workshop discussed innovative projects with the potential to help curb hunger and improve nutrition and health around the world.

As a result of these workshops, the organizations formed a post-workshop private discussion forum. Feel free to browse the conference presentations or start discussions aimed at moving initiatives forward.
