Another aspect of integrated management at Desautels involves the advancement of MDIIM’s thematic priorities. The following are MDIIM initiatives that relate or correspond to the integration of different types of value:
The Social Economy Initiative: An important vehicle through which Desautels is integrating social entrepreneurship and social innovation more formally into its teaching, research, and outreach.
The Sustainability Initiative: A mechanism through which Desautels is integrating sustainability as well as ecological concerns more formally into its teaching, research, and outreach activities.
The Health Initiative: An enterprise through which Desautels is integrating its diverse health issues’ teaching, research, and outreach activities.
The Faculty Fellows Program: A program that provides a mechanism for faculty members to integrate the MDIIM’s thematic priorities into their research and teaching.
The Student Associates Program: A program designed to integrate Desautels students into the process of scoping, designing, and implementing innovative teaching, research, and outreach initiatives.
The Integrated Management Student Projects Fund: A funding mechanism to support and empower students to develop and implement their own integrated management initiatives.
