Congratulations to Paolo V. Leone, Saku Mantere and Samer Faraj, whose paper “Open Theorizing in Management and Organization Studies” has been named Best Article Finalist by the Academy of Management (AOM).

The research paper “Open Theorizing in Management and Organization Studies” co-authored by Professors Samer Faraj, Saku Mantere, (both Professors in Strategy and Organization), and Paolo V. Leone (Ph.D. candidate in Strategy and Organization), published in the Academy of Management Review, 46(4), 2021: pp. 725-749, has been named a Best Article Finalist by the Academy of Management (AOM). The AOM Publication Awards recognize authors of outstanding journal articles that were published in the previous year in each of the Academy's six journals. The 2022 AOM Publication Awards were announced at the Annual Meeting which took place August 5th to 9th in Seattle, Washington.

The Academy of Management (AOM) is the preeminent professional association for management and organization scholars. Its worldwide members are professors and Ph.D. students in business schools at universities, academics in related social science and other fields, and practitioners who value knowledge creation and application. Founded in 1936, the AOM global community today is nearly 18,000 strong and spans over 120 countries.
