McGill Sustainable Futures Festival

A Panel on Socio-ecological Transition in Healthcare will be live-streamed on Wednesday, September 14th, 1:30-3:00 pm from the International Masters for Health Leadership (IMHL) program within the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University. The panel will be chaired by Dror Etzion of the Desautels Faculty of Management, and will include the following panelists:

• Jill Baumgartner, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine at McGill, and also affiliated with Drawdown Lift. Her research focuses on environmental pollutants and their affect on human health in the context of urbanization and development.
• Jérôme Ribesse, Deputy Director and Environmental Health Advisor at Synergie Santé Environnement.
• Stephan Williams, practicing anesthesiologist, Medical Co-Manager of carbon neutrality at Montreal’s CHUM and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal.

The panel is part of the Catalytic/Change Module in the IMHL and the first time we are exploring this area of focus in the program. The current cohort of the IMHL has 48 participants from 20 countries around the world.
