Professor Dror Etzion and BCom 2012 alumni, Benjamin Gruber and James Povitz (along with Raymond Paquin of Concordia University) have won 1st place in the Social Entrepreneurship track at the 11th annual oikos Case Writing Competition for their case entitled "Communauto: A Big Idea for a Big Market".
The SEI's teaching-related goal is to prepare a dynamic workforce to lead and serve organizations within the social economy by providing a world-class education.
The SEI Leadership Council (SEI-LC) was formed in 2012 to ensure that its teaching, research and outreach activities are closely tied to the real issues facing the world. The following members are actively involved in leading social economy initiatives and provide valuable insight for the SEI.
The SEI's outreach-related goal is to provide catalyzing experiential learning opportunities outside the classroom for our students by engaging with individuals and organizations active in the social economy.
