Biography: 

Alexander Toeldte has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Boise Inc. since February 22, 2008. Mr. Toeldte served as Executive Vice President of Paper and Packaging & Newsprint at Boise Cascade Holdings LLC after returning to North America.  Prior to serving as Executive Vice President of Fonterra Co-operative Group, Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer of Fonterra Enterprises in New Zealand, he led Fletcher Challenge Building and Fletcher Challenge Paper as Chief Executive and Fletcher Challenge Canada Limited as Chairman of the Board. He was a Partner of McKinsey & Company having been based in its Toronto, Brussels, Montreal and Stockholm offices.  Mr. Toeldte is a Director of the American Forest and Paper Association and past Chairman of its Board, as well as a trustee of the College of Idaho. After studying economics at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg, Germany Mr. Toeldte completed a Master of Business Administration at McGill University in Montreal.
