Speaker: Dr. Genevieve Genest, Assistant Professor
immunologist and allergologist at the Montreal General Hospital and founder of the first and only Reproductive Immunology Clinic in Canada.
At the end of the presentation, the audience will:
- Understand the factors associated with the global rise in infertility
- Review the physiology of oocyte function as maternal age increases
- Review the impact of aging on endometrial and placental function
- Discuss barriers in seeking reproductive counsel in medicine, discuss options for fertility preservation and discuss family planning in the context of a demanding career
