 ohnson\, BSc'84\, DDS'89.\n\nTopic: 'Oral Manifestations of Systemic Disea
 ses'\n\nThe Ernie Ambrose Lecture series offers 1.5 CE Credits.\n\nRegiste
 r now.\n\n\n	Speaker Bio:\n\n	\n		Dr. Johnson is a dual degree board certified
  Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. After obtaining the Doctor of Dental Surg
 ery degree at McGill University in Canada in 1989\, Dr. Johnson joined the
  Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto as an Assistant Profess
 or. He was responsible for the Northern Outreach Program\, including the t
 eaching and supervision of dental students from the University of Toronto 
 and University of Western Ontario. He also served as Dental Surgeon-in-Chi
 ef at the Moose Factory General Hospital during that time.\n			\n			In June of 1
 995\, Dr. Johnson obtained the Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Med
 ical College\, following which he completed 3 years of residency training 
 in general surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jers
 ey. He obtained formal training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harva
 rd School of Dental Medicine and the Massachusetts General Hospital in Bos
 ton\, MA.\n			\n			He has been in private practice in Ottawa since 2001 and also
  serves as a member of the Faculty of Dentistry's Admissions Committee at 
 McGill University. Dr. Johnson is an active member of the American Board o
 f Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and Canadian Association of Oral and Maxil
 lofacial Surgeons. His area of special interest is Facial Trauma and Recon
 struction.\n			\n			Dr. Johnson is married to Dr. Anita Brown-Johnson\, Assistan
 t Professor of Family Medicine at McGill University\, Associate Chief of F
 amily Medicine and Director of the Secondary Care Division at McGill Unive
 rsity Health Center. They are proud parents of Anastasia and Nicholas.\n	\n
