 30\, 2024 ǀ 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.\n\nThis free lecture\, offered by the McGill
  University Dementia Education Program in partnership with Nova Home Care\
 , is open to all. It will take place online in English.\n\nThis public lec
 ture aims to raise awareness and provide basic information about Alzheimer
 ’s disease and other neurocognitive disorders.\n\nDuring this presentation
 \, Dr. Serge Gauthier\, a clinical neurologist\, will provide information 
 on the different types of neurocognitive disorders. He will discuss the as
 sociated behavioural and psychological symptoms that manifest as the disea
 se progresses\, and explain how these may differ from typical aging concer
 ns.\n\nNext\, Mrs. Claire Webster\, former caregiver and Certified Dementi
 a Care Consultant\, will share practical advice on how to care for a perso
 n living with dementia. She will discuss important considerations to ensur
 e the safety and well-being of both the individual as well as the care par
 tner to help families understand and access the resources needed to naviga
