Biography: 

Visual Arts Centre

In January 2017, Natasha S. Reid will become the Executive Director of the Visual Arts Centre. She holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Art Education from Concordia University and a B.A. in Fine Art History from the University of Toronto. Additionally, she was a postdoctoral research fellow at New York University and the Université du Québec à Montréal, funded by the Quebec government. Recently, Natasha was an Assistant Professor of Art and Visual Culture Education at the University of Arizona. Natasha has worked with a wide variety of art education centres and galleries, including the Visual Arts Centre, the FOFA Gallery, and La Centrale Galerie Powerhouse. Her research focuses on the narratives of community and museum art educators and learners. Natasha's art practice incorporates painting, installation, video, storytelling, and performance.
