Biography:
Teesri Duniya Theatre
Playwright and arts educator, currently developing a new play on the topic of rape narratives. Recent projects include Wake Up Sleeping Beauty! (Live Action Theatre), Modern Love (Theatre St. Catherine), Mud (The Other Theatre), Safer Ground (Teesri Duniya), Unfit for Bears and P4W (Zeitgeist Theatre). Julia holds a BFA in theatre (York University) and B. Ed from the Artist in the Community program (Queens), and she has been working at the intersection of performing arts and arts education for ten years.
