Former Deans of Students next to Deans' WallOn Nov. 3, 2006, McGill's exceptionally helpful deans and associate deans of students were honoured for their contributions to student life with the creation of both a Deans' Wall in the Brown Student Services Building and a Dean of Students Bursary Fund.

On hand were, left to right: Lynn Butler Kisber, former associate dean of students and former acting dean; former Deans of Students Eigil "Pete" Pedersen and Irwin Gopnik; Elizabeth Rowlinson, former associate dean of students; former Associate Dean of Students Linda Jacobs Starkey; Rosalie Jukier, former dean of students; Rhonda Amsel, a former associate dean of students; and Kay Sibbald, former associate dean of students and former acting dean.

We would like to acknowledge that McGill University is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabeg nations. McGill honours, recognizes and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we meet today.
