International Exchange Grant

The CSDC supports graduate students to participate in international exchanges. The priority for funding is for PhD students; however, the Centre will consider funding for MA students on a case-by-case basis. The Centre awards $2,500 per month and can award funding up to $7,500, per student. The minimum duration of the international exchange should be two months. The funding can also be used to bring in a student from a non-Canadian university. The International Exchange Student grants will be awarded on a competitive basis. The CSDC has $15,000 per year in its funding envelope to fund international exchanges.

Applications should include a nomination letter from the student’s supervisor. The nomination letter should be sent directly by the referee to csdc-cecd [at] mcgill.ca. Please note. For 2017 the application deadline is February 24th.

Following the review of the application by the steering committee, the applicant will receive an email notification with details of the decision regarding the International Exchange grant allocation.
