Nicole is an undergrad at McGill University with double major in Psychology and International Development. She is interested in children with disabilities, poverty and inequality. In the past Nicole enjoyed working with disadvantaged children with chronic illnesses in Quebec and the Dominican Republic. Currently, she is an RA in an educational and counselling psychology laboratory where she works with children and studies their tendency to lie and keep secrets. She joined the Centre for Research on Children and Families in May 2017. She is working under Dr. Lucyna Lach on the Strongest Families project where she is creating a resource page for families with children with neurodevelopmental disorders. In 2017, she was a recipient of the Arts Research Internship award (ARIA).
