Catherine Gareau-Blanchard

Catherine Gareau-BlanchardCatherine Gareau-Blanchard is a research assistant at the Centre for Research on Children and Families. She has worked for the Canadian Mental Health Association and is also a facilitator and trainer at Relief, where she teaches mental health self-management workshops. She has a BSW and MSW from UQAM. Her professional experience and research interests focus on sexual health, health promotion practices, sexual violence, violence against women, mental health and group intervention. She is currently working with Dr. Delphine Collin-Vézina on a multidisciplinary project to improve the experience of victims of sexual and domestic violence within the judicial system through a training platform for law officials.
