Oriane Simion

Oriane Simion is a doctoral student in Social Work at McGill University and in Psychology at Lille University. She works under the co-supervision of Dr. Delphine Collin-Vézina and Pr. Stéphane Rusinek. The aim of Oriane’s thesis is to provide a better understanding of the symptoms related to Complex Post-Traumatic Disorder and to evaluate its relation to personality disorders and dissociative disorders.

Oriane obtained her Bsc in Psychology (2014), her Msc in Clinical Psychology & Integrative Psychopathology (2016) and her Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotraumatology (2017) at the Université Paris Descartes – Sorbonne Paris Cité (Paris, France). She also obtained her Postgraduate Diploma specializing in CBT, specializing in psychotrauma from the Association Française de Thérapie Comportementale et Cognitive in 2019 (Paris, France).

Oriane vonlonteered with victims of sexual violence at the Feminist Collective Against Rape (CFCV) association (Paris, France). She worked as a clinical psychologist for emergency interventions, short-term care consultations and prevention of psychosocial risks at Workplace Options (Paris, France). She also provide consultations and psychotherapeutic support for victims of traumatic events as a clinical psychologist at the Special Unit for the Support of Psychotrauma (USAP) of the Intercommunal Hospital Center Robert Ballanger (Aulnay-sous-bois, France).
