If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have received a positive test, report your symptoms or diagnosis here.
UPDATE: Due to overwhelming demand for the Registration Centre, additional dates have been added.
If you have received a COVID-19 vaccination outside of Quebec, you will need to register your vaccinations in Quebec to be eligible for the vaccine passport.
We are aware many international and out-of-province students have experienced challenges with registering their vaccines. To make vaccine registration more accessible, McGill will be hosting a Vaccine Registration Centre at the downtown campus for any out-of-province or international students who still need to register their vaccines.
Note: this centre will only offer vaccine registrations and will NOT administer vaccinations.
McGill Vaccine Registration Centre
Welcome Centre (Service Area) - McGill Downtown Campus
3415 Rue McTavish
Monday, September 20 – Tuesday, September 21
09:00-17:00 each day
What to bring to register your vaccinations:
Vaccination cards or proof of vaccines
Health card or health information from your home province or country
Proof of residency in Quebec (i.e. a signed lease, phone bill, bank statement, or McGill records, that include your name along with an address in Quebec)
Will there be long lineups? Will I be guaranteed to get my vaccines registered?
Each day, clinicians will be able to register vaccines for approximately 100 students, on a first-come, first-served basis (no appointments).
Where to get vaccinated
Note: this centre will only offer vaccine registrations and NOT vaccinations
If you are in need of your second vaccination or a booster shot, there are walk-in clinics across Montreal that offer COVID vaccinations without an appointment.
From the downtown campus, Palais des congrès de Montréal offers first or second dose vaccinations of Pfizer or Moderna (depending on availability) without an appointment. The clinic is a 20-minute walk from campus and is open every day from 08:00-19:00.
There is no walk-in clinic that is close to the Macdonald campus. However, you can book an appointment at the UniPrix on rue Sainte-Anne, about a 15 minute walk from the Mac campus.
