Easier access to Paxlovid - April 4
The Government of Quebec announced that pharmacists will now be able to prescribe Paxlovid, a drug used to treat COVID-19, to patients with medical conditions that put them at risk for complications from the virus. Patients with these conditions who have tested positive and have COVID-19 symptoms can obtain the drug from many pharmacies. The drug should be started within five days of symptoms appearing.
