Biography
Dr. Alejandro Gutierrez Lopez has more than fifteen years of experience in Information Technology projects working for companies in Mexico, Sweden, Iceland, and Canada. His fields of expertise include data science, project management, simulation models, and software systems. Dr. Gutierrez is a Faculty Lecturer at the School of Continuing Studies, where he teaches multiple courses in Business Analytics and Data Science.
He holds a Ph.D. in Project Management from the University of the Basque Country in Spain, a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from Lund University in Sweden, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Monterrey in Mexico.
Dr. Gutierrez holds several professional certifications including, Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), certified Microsoft Excel Expert, as well as Certification in Business Data Analytics (IIBA®- CBDA) and Certificate in Product Ownership Analysis (IIBA®-CPOA).
