 f the session the leader will explain the basics of scanning and equipment
  used for this purpose. In the second half of the session the participants
  will have the opportunity to scan some of their own material. It is expec
 ted that the participants will bring in a few of their own samples for sca
 nning and one USB Stick (max. 4GB).  This  hands-on session is for anyone 
 who has experience in using a PC or Apple computer and has a desire to tra
 nsfer analogue pictures/slides (35 mm) into a digital format. Participants
