 eat archaeological treasures.  It has been declared the 8th Wonder of the 
 Ancient World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors are awestruck by 
 its deep canyons and multi-coloured mountains into which the ancient city 
 was carved. This illustrated lecture will focus on Petra's history and the
  culture of its Nabatean inhabitants\, its magnificent sights\, as well as
