Kit Malo

I fell in love with teaching while completing my Masters in Human Systems Intervention at Concordia. Since then, I have had the great fortune to teach Organizational Behaviour with the School of Continuing Studies.

Over time, I have honed my organizational rigour, theoretical knowledge and curriculum design. I have learned the importance of fostering supportive student-teacher relationships through active listening and attention to individual leaning styles and contributions. I have a student-centred approach where the uniqueness of each voice is considered along-side that of the group’s learning arch. 

For the past 7 years, I have also actively worked as an organizational consultant practitioner, 3.5 of which have been in the running of my own company. My work outside the classroom is focused on process consult-ing with Higher Education, government and non-profits, specifically in the areas of change management, leadership and coaching. These activities enable me to bring practical knowledge and know-how of to my students.
