Placement Description & Logistics:

 

  1. Project Support Intern: 

The Project Support Intern would be responsible for providing the team with administrative support for the delivery of projects and programs. The team is currently working on developing a Gender Strategy and Operationalization tools for a client. The internship will involve working together with the team on this project as well supporting the development of a new opportunity which involves the design of an entrepreneurship program and the development of a proposal. This is a role that requires flexibility, the ability to multi-task, and good communication skills.

 

Internship Tasks:

Task 1: Preparing reports for internal and external audiences.

Task 2: Organize and schedule client meetings.

Task 3: Conduct and support research and learning activities to gather best practices in gender, entrepreneurship, and youth engagement.

 

Expected Outcomes:

Deliverable 1: Meeting reports prepared for clients as required.

Deliverable 2: Timely and organized clients’ meeting schedules.

Deliverable 3: Summary review of secondary research for the development of the gender/youth strategy and the design of the entrepreneurship program.

 

   2. Communications Intern:

Densu Associates is looking to increase its social media presence and engage an online community around its work. The Communications Intern will support the development of Densu Associates' social media presence and communications activities. This role requires creativity, flexibility, and good communications skills.

 

Internship Tasks:

Task 1: Preparing reports for internal and external audiences.

Task 2: Managing Densu Associates' social media platforms and community engagement.

Task 3: Support Densu Associates' communication activities.

 

Expected Outputs:

Deliverable 1: Meeting reports prepared for clients as requested.

Deliverable 2: Assessment report of Densu Associates' social media presence and a plan /strategy to manage social media platforms and engage the online community.

Deliverable 3: Day to day management of the social media platforms, blogs, and an article to be posted on the platform.
