CATS actively and intentionally creates, supports, and maintains a learning and sharing environment as well as a culture that is free from discriminatory and intimidating behaviour. We seek to address issues of concern related to equity-seeking groups in a timely and effective manner.

CATS brings together talented students and members of the wider community with diverse and intersecting identities so that all can flourish. While SCS CATS continues to develop and promote equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives in its programming, promotions, and in-person and online events, we acknowledge that our work in this regard is just beginning. Our continuing efforts are guided by evidence-based successful approaches to effectively removing barriers to inclusion. We also provide allyship to ensure that all members of the McGill SCS CATS community are treated in a fair and ethical manner and are supported throughout their journey toward professional and personal success.
