Biography
Jean-Louis Maréchaux is a technical advisor at Google Cloud, where he helps Canadian companies achieve their digital transformation. In his current role, Jean-Louis specializes in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence technologies on cloud.
His professional background is in software architecture, application modernization, and cloud computing. Prior to joining Google, Jean-Louis had a focus on AI-centric applications for the supply chain industry (Ivado Labs, BlueYonder/JDA Labs). He also spent many years in large tech companies like Sybase (now SAP) and IBM where he held multiple positions in software engineering and architecture.
Jean-Louis holds an MSc and a BSc in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science, both from UPPA University in France. His current interests include cloud computing, data science (AI/ML), blockchain, IoT, and contributing to the Montreal technical ecosystem through volunteer activities. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience through teaching at McGill University in the School of Continuing Studies.
