In support of McGill Principal Suzanne Fortier's priority of transforming McGill's campuses, Facilities Management and Ancillary Services is implementing a landscaping plan that includes several exterior projects.

Following the restoration of McGill's iconic Roddick Gates and the reconstruction of the terrace on the east side of the Leacock Building in 2016 and 2017, and the redesign of the McTavish Gates area in 2018-2019, the University is launching two similar projects in 2019 on the west-side terrace of the Leacock Building and on the main road of the downtown lower campus.

This section also includes details of other exterior projects, such as those aimed at improving the exterior envelope (façade, roof, windows, foundations) of McGill buildings.
