Energy Saving Project: Lighting Retrofits
Brown Student Services Building
Utilities and Energy Management is implementing lighting retrofits in numerous buildings on both the downtown and Macdonald Campuses. These projects are part of McGill's Five-Year Energy Plan and a vital component of McGill's commitment to significantly reduce energy consumption by 2015.
A recent example is Project 12-227 in the Brown Student Services Building, where more energy-efficient lighting was installed and occupancy sensors help ensure lights are on only when needed. Work on this particular project was completed in Fall, 2013.
