December 2019 - January 2020
5 sectorial meetings were held between industrial partners and researchers during the early winter months of 2019-2020 for the second RITA-CTAQ network. These meetings were held in Montréal and Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue. The goal of these meetings was to present early results and to adjust the fine details of the next steps of the research.
May 2019
Our kick-off workshop for the second RITA-CTAQ network was held at the Beaconsfield Golf Club in Pointe-Claire. This meeting was organized to align industrial partner priorities with the research projects, that may now begin.
June 2018
The last McGill-CTAQ network workshop was held at the CRDSH in Saint-Hyacinthe. This was a special day to present the final results to a broader industrial audience, with full research teams invited to the meeting, rather than solely those involved in the project. This meeting was hosted by the Fondation Initia. The day was a great success with presentations of research, networking opportunities, discussions and poster presentations.
The winners of the poster presentations were:
-
Timothé Lemaire - Development of an Accelerated Method for the Evaluation of the Oxidative Stability of Chicken and Pork Sausages Supplemented with Natural Ingredients
-
Laila Ben Said
-
Elsa Monanteras, YiNing Dong, Lucas Wise, Marika Houde - Effects of Essential Oils & Extracts Additions on the Sensory Properties of Selected Food Products
