The McGill Conservatory of Music seeks a piano Instructor for its community program. Applicants must possess an outgoing personality with the ability to motivate all ages, be able to document a minimum of 4 years teaching experience, have a love of working with children and familiarity with our Conservatory Exam program. We seek someone enthusiastic about preparing and adjudicating students in our exams. It is hoped that the candidate will be able to contribute to the health of our piano area.

The McGill Conservatory of Music seeks a Keyboard Literature Instructor for its community program. Applicants must possess an outgoing personality with the ability to motivate and communicate and have a love of working with children. They must be familiar with and comfortable engaging with students remotely via the Zoom network. The minimum education requirement is a Masters of Music degree. Experience teaching in a classroom setting is required. The course will run this August and potentially during the school year on a different schedule. The McGill Conservatory of Music seeks a Voice Instructor for its community program at the Macdonald Campus only. Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Music degree in voice, preferably a Master’s (in some musical field), be able to document at least 2 years teaching experience, and have a love of teaching both children and adults. Must be available for afternoon and evening weekday and weekend teaching at the Conservatory location on the West Island Macdonald Campus. This position also requires conducting at least one official voice workshop (for which you will be paid) at the Downtown Campus during the teaching year. We ask that the Instructor audit at least one workshop (ideally two) to become familiar with the diverse ways in which a workshop/master class can be presented. Outgoing personality, ability to motivate and communicate bilingually are assets.
