The way you lay out your content makes a huge impact on how it's read and understood. Images play a part too – they’re a great way to break up text, add visual interest and clarify your content. However, you need to make sure that these work for you, not against you.
McGill site editors and managers are invited to a free session from the Office of Communications and External Relations’ Web Communications team, taking place at noon on Feb. 13 in 688 Sherbrooke, room 1041. Topics covered will include:
- Working with photos: where to get them, and how to make them work.
- Making slideshows that both impress and drive traffic.
- How to use special layout elements such as accordions to make your site the best it can be.
Unfortunately, food and drink are not permitted in room 1041.
