Web editors at McGill want to provide their users with the best experience possible – and Google Analytics traffic reports can help.
The Office of Communications and External Relations is engaging in a pilot project to provide site traffic reports to McGill site editors. By providing actionable data aimed at gaining insight into user activity, we want to give you the tools you need to help improve your site. If you want some guidance on what these reports mean and how best to use them, we also provide one-on-one consultation to help you make the most of the service.
Site managers and editors interested in receiving reports and those interested in learning more about them are invited to a “Lunch & Learn” style session in Leacock 232 covering:
- what the service is, and how it can be useful,
- an in-depth look at a few different reports and
- information on how to sign up.
The session will be recorded and posted online. Unfortunately, food is not permitted in LEA232.
