Lunch & Learn: Designing an effective website architecture

Leacock Building Room 232, 855 rue Sherbrooke Ouest, Montreal, QC, H3A 2T7, CA

On Thursday, July 4th at noon in Leacock 232, the Office of Communications and External Relations presents a free lunch-hour session for McGill web editors working in the WMS (Drupal). Learn how to help your site’s visitors find what they’re looking for with an effective architecture that meets their needs. No registration required! Topics covered will include:

  • Identifying – and identifying with – your audience
  • Creating, organizing and naming your pages: how to use architecture to meet your users’ needs
  • Building an architecture that stands the test of time
  • Scaling up to larger sites

Can’t make it on July 4? A recording will be posted online to McGill’s BCOOL system about a week after the event. Previous sessions held by McGill’s Web Communications team can also be viewed here.

Unfortunately, food and drinks are not permitted in Leacock 232.
