Classics, Ancient History and Related Courses

The Department of History and Classical Studies offers a wide range of classics (CLAS) and ancient history (HIST) courses. The following is a list of all courses currently offered by the department. Please note that in any given semester, only some of these are taught. Check out the list of courses offered each year or consult Minerva to see what is available this semester.

NOTE: beginning Fall 2017, the list of classics and related courses has been significantly revised, and many CLAS courses have been renumbered. If you are completing a classics program under the "old" requirements (before Fall 2017), consult with a program advisor to make sure that revised/renumbered courses fulfill the older program requirements.
