DESCRIPTION:Dynamic Games and Applications Seminar\n\nSpeaker: Catherine Ra
 iner – Université de Brest\, France \n\n \n\nWebinar link\n	Webinar ID: 841
3695 9888\n	Passcode: 120834\n\nWe study quitting games and define the con
cept of absorption paths\, which is an alternative definition to strategy
profiles that accommodates both discrete-time aspects and continuous-time
aspects\, and is parametrized by the total probability of absorption in pa
st play rather than by time. We establish that any quitting game that does
not have simple equilibria (that is\, an equilibrium where the game termi
nates in the first period or one where the game never terminates) has a se
quentially 0-perfect absorption path. We finally identify a class of quitt
ing games that possess sequentially 0-perfect absorption paths and present
an algorithm to compute them.\n\n(with Galit Ashkenazi-Golan\, Eilon Sola
 n\, and Ilia Krasikov)\n\nEvent Link\n
