Maximilien Van Haaster (B.Ed. Kinesiology ’16), of our Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, is one of three McGill athletes representing Canada at the Summer Olympic Games in Rio, August 5th to 21st. From Montreal, Quebec, Van Haaster won an individual bronze medal at the 2013 Pan American fencing Championships, and finished fifth in both individual and team foil events at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto.
The Ottawa Senators announced on Friday the appointment of McGill Education alumnus Martin Raymond (BEd 1990, MA (Physical Education) 1996) as an assistant coach to bench boss Guy Boucher.
