Contractors for the City of Montreal will be working on modifications to the east sidewalk on McTavish Street (between Sherbrooke and Dr. Penfield) from Monday, November 8 to Wednesday, November 10 inclusive. A security perimeter will be installed to ensure the safety of pedestrians.

- The work will be divided into 3 sections, beginning with the portion closest to Dr. Penfield which is scheduled for Monday, November 8.
A City of Montreal project concrete pour on Friday, April 7 will have approximately twelve trucks accessing McTavish through the alley behind the Bronfman Building. As a result, the pedestrian access across McTavish at Bookstore/McLennan-Redpath Complex crossing point will be blocked off. A detour will be in place for approximately one week starting from April 7. The detour will have people walking up to Sherbrooke before gaining access to the east or west sidewalk on McTavish.
