Usman W. Chohan is a consultant with the World Bank Institute in the field of Social Accountability, and is pursuing an MBA at Desautels with a concentration in Strategy and Leadership. He was invited to the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council site at Fatehjang to analyze their sustainability initiatives, including their highly promising Solar-powered Irrigation Systems.
The Faculty of Law was delighted to learn that on January 29, 2014, adjunct professor Jeffrey Edwards (BCL’86, LLB’86) was appointed to the Civil Division of the Court of Quebec in Montreal. Justice Edwards, who was admitted to the Bar in 1987, has mostly practiced civil and commercial litigation. He is also an accredited arbitrator and mediator, and as such, he specializes in the resolution of construction and product quality claims.
