Il y a quelques décennies, apposer les trois lettres MBA (Master of Business Administration) à son nom faisait le plus grand effet auprès des employeurs. Maintenant, les programmes se sont multipliés, les diplômés MBA sont nombreux et il faut creuser davantage pour connaître la valeur réelle du diplôme.

Même si leurs noms different parfois, les principaux programmes de MBA offerts dans les universités sont le MBA à temps plein, le MBA à temps partiel et le MBA pour cadres, ou Executive MBA (EMBA), qui s'adresse aux cadres expérimentés.

We are pleased to announce that the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill has agreed to be a business school partner with the Latin American MBA Alumni Network (LAMBA). LAMBA is a professional association that connects Latin American MBA graduates with one another and with corporations in Canada.
Il y a une décennie, les femmes étaient encore peu nombreuses dans les cohortes de MBA au Québec. Depuis quelques années, elles représentent en moyenne de 25 à 35 % des étudiants dans ces programmes.
La présence des femmes dans les classes de MBA pour cadres en exercice est appelée à croître au cours des prochaines années.
Desautels MBA students, Alaa Abulhuda, Soeren Klatt, Lauren Merkel and Thomas Weber, took 2nd place at the 7th annual Financial Executives International (FEI) Best in Class Invitational Case Competition held in Toronto from November 15-17, 2012. After placing 4th in 2009 and 3rd in 2010, this is our Faculty’s highest placement thus far at this prestigious competition, which includes the top business schools from across Canada.
