"New COVID-19 cases are rising in Quebec, but unlike during previous waves of the novel coronavirus, the level of vaccination in the province should lead to significantly fewer hospitalizations."
Dr. David Buckeridge, Professor at the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health spoke with the Montreal Gazette.
"More than one-quarter of Quebecers who were hospitalized with severe COVID-19 over the past month were people who had been fully vaccinated, the government reported on Wednesday in its latest chart on the situation in the province."
