The STEMM Touch-screen exhibit kiosks have opened @ Redpath Museum! Nearly a year after its inception, the Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Medicine (STEMM) Diversity @ McGill initiative, which aims to promote diversity in STEMM fields, has installed two newly created touch screens with the two exhibit panels.
MUSEUMS’ CHOICE: FOSSIL FAVOURITES FROM ACROSS CANADA
To mark Canada's 150 anniversary, the Alliance of Natural History Museums of Canada (ANHMC), in partnership with the Canadian Museum of Nature (CMN) and the Royal British Columbia Museum (Royal BC Museum), have collaborated to produce a nationally travelling Fossils Exhibition. Featuring some of Canada's most impressive, famous and significant fossils or replicas, this exhibition will be presented at ANHMC member museums across Canada over a three year period.
Bird Protection in Quebec started 100 years ago to prevent hunting on Mont Royal. Check out the display honouring the work of this group, and the renovations of the Quebec Biodiversity Exhibits.
