The Maimonides Geriatric Centre Foundation will again be offering a bursary of $2500 to a nursing student who demonstrates interest in geriatrics. This bursary will be awarded during the academic year 2009-2010.
In compliance with pandemic preparedness plans, entry to some clinical settings will require students to get an influenza (flu) vaccination and be fitted for a “Moldex” brand of N95 mask. McGill Student Health Service (SHS) administers flu immunization programs and will track students who receive these services. They have also mask fitting for “3M” type N95 masks.

Due to temporary problems with the ID card system, newly registered students admitted from CEGEP for the upcoming academic year may not be able to get an ID card issued during the week of June 8, 2009. Please call 514-398-7248 for further information before coming to McGill to get your ID card. Students who have registered by Sunday June 7, 2009 are able to obtain an ID card.

NUR1 431 Community Health Nursing 1 in Fall 2009 and NUR1 432 in Winter 2010, require students to submit a Student Learning Profile and submit it by May 7, 2009, in order to secure a clinical placement. See email sent on April 17 for complete instructions.
