All McGill nursing students must be mask fitted for two types of protective masks: 3M and either the Moldex/Inovel/or Cardinal. If you have not been mask fitted you should make an appointment at the McGill Student Health Services ASAP. Book an appointment via the reception of SHS by calling 514-398-6017.

As of September 16, 2010, there is still a timetable conflict occurring when students try to register for PHGY 210 for the winter session. The School of Nursing is addressing the problem with the help of the Department of Physiology and instructions will be posted on the web once a solution becomes available.
A Study Skills and Multiple Choice Questions workshop will be held in the Wendy Patrick Room at Wilson Hall on October 6, from 13:30 to 15:30. It is strongly recommended that students attend this workshop.

An advising session for all U2 BNI students, including part-time students who missed this session in their first year, will be held on September 28 at 11:35 in Room 103. It will be followed by a verification of immunization records in Wilson Hall, Room 223.

Due to an unforeseen timetable conflict, NUR1 223 Development Across the Lifespan conflicts with MATH 139 and CHEM 110 on Mondays. For those students affected, it is advisable to take an alternate 3 credit elective (U0 students are advised to take a 100 or 200 level course of interest).
Please register for PHYG 210 CRN 699. This is the section that has the time slot that best fits your schedule without conflicting with NUR1 200. If this section is full, continue verifying MINERVA between now and the Add/Drop deadline - September 14 - for places that may become available.
On March 24, McGill Nursing students Sarina Fazio, Aspen Gagné, Paula Jofré, Felicia Juneau, and Anne-Marie Powell presented their community health nursing project DVD encouraging educational attainment, My Words, My Future, to youth and their parents at the Dawson Community Centre.

Today Abbott Laboratories (Abbott) announced it will sponsor McGill University's Nurse Practitioner programs launched by the McGill School of Nursing of the Faculty of Medicine.
