Gérard T. Simon award winner Matthew Gallaugher also received the CFDM travel award from Pierre-Mathieu Charest (MSC Treasurer) at the 2014 annual meeting of the Microscopical Society of Canada.
Dr. Priti Wanjara, Team Leader of the Coatings and Metallic Products group, has been the distinguished ASM Fellowship 2014. This highest of honours recognizes scientific and Engineering contributions in the development and application of materials in the aerospace, automotive, marine and power generation industries. Dr. Wanjara accepted this award during ASM’s annual awards dinner on October 14, 2014, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania during the Materials Science & Technology 2014 conference.
