As of November 3, 2015, when you access a Books 24x7 e-book through WorldCat Local or from a link on the Library web site, you'll be able to access the e-book simply by logging in with your McGill username (email address) and password. You will no longer need to create or use a separate Books 24x7 account to access these e-books.
UPDATE, October 6, 2015: This issue has been resolved. Initiating interlibrary loan requests from the Find Full Text (WorldCat Link Resolver) page is working as expected. Thank you for your understanding. October 2, 2015:

EndNote X7 is not currently compatible with Microsoft Word 2016 for Mac. The vendor, Thomson Reuters, will be releasing a free patch for it in September or October. In the meantime, Office 2011 is available for free to McGill students, faculty, and staff through the Office 365 site. If you've already installed Office 2016, however, workarounds are available.

Today the Library launched our subject guides on LibGuides, a specialized publishing system that makes it easier for us to provide you with helpful information that is easy to find and use. You can access these guides as you normally would through the Subject Guide links on the home page. Note: The URLs for the guides have changed, so any bookmarks or links that you have created to these subject guides will need to be updated.
Update: Friday, August 14 at 4:44 PM OCLC is reporting that the system issue has been resolved. They recommend that anyone still experiencing issues with the WorldCat service clear your browser cache and try again. If you continue to experience issues with WorldCat, please let us know!
Unfortunately, we have had to scale back our plans for making changes to the design of the Library home page. Instead, we will be limiting ourselves to making a few small changes to the content displayed in the current design. Specifically:
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics will be transforming the former Library space on the 11th floor of Burnside Hall over the upcoming year in order to meet the teaching and learning needs of students and faculty. To facilitate this space transformation, the McGill Library will relocate the library collection and merge this material with the rest of the math and statistic collections currently housed in other branch libraries.
