The parties met on December 17 to discuss whether a temporary alternative work arrangement (TAWA) could be considered as an adequate vehicle to address the union’s proposal to reduce work hours prior to retirement and to address work-life issues with regard to their work schedule.
The parties met on September 24 to discuss the mechanism of potentially implementing technical support roles. Although the parties see the advantages of introducing such roles, no agreement was reached as the parties could not agree on the description to include in the collective agreement or on the premium to be paid.

The parties met on June 12, 2014 and, as agreed at the previous meeting, the university proposed the text of a letter of agreement concerning technical support roles. Based on comments made by the union at the previous meeting, the university also submitted a modified document concerning the required qualifying
The parties met on May 28, 2014 and the university proposed an implementation strategy for a new technical support role which could be introduced in the bargaining unit.
On May 12, 2014, the parties had two topics on the agenda: the review and signature of several text adjustments agreed to in previous meetings and the possibility of lowering the minimum duration of a deferred salary leave.
At the meeting of April 30, 2014, the parties covered two topics: new employee training and vacation scheduling in printing services.
The parties met on May 8, 2014 and the university presented a proposed new technical support role which could be introduced in the bargaining unit. The university outlined the purpose of this role and how it would complement other existing elements of the organization.
