The Effective Parenting Series is back with four public lectures focusing on topics of concern for parents/guardians/grandparents!

The 2019 Series takes place on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm from April 9-30, 2019 (April 9, 16, 23, 30).

Lectures will be presented in English.

Each year, NCPG and the International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High-Risk Behaviours at McGill University ask lotteries to support their responsible gaming campaign and help raise awareness regarding the risks of underage lottery play during the holiday season.

New parents often expect their baby to start sleeping through the night by around six months of age. Indeed, they often receive messages from paediatricians and others about the importance of early sleep consolidation. But authors of a study in the December 2018 issue of Pediatrics found that a large percentage of healthy babies don’t reach that milestone by six months of age, or even at a year old.
