Tables wil l be set-up in the Bronfman\nBuilding Lobby. It is important to become a m ember to participate\nin the MAS Cocktail Event and to be on the distribut ion list for\nkey communications.\n\nSept. 5: Kick -Off Information Sessio n from\n6-9:00pm in Bronfman 422\, on the accounting recruitment process\n given by the McGill Management Accounting Society and the Career\nPlanning Service (CaPS). Its purpose is to inform you of what to\nexpect during th e recruiting period. No registration required!\nAugust 27 - Sept. 19: Firm s hold tours and\ncocktails to promote themselves. This is your chance to find out\nabout the different firms and meet both recruiters and current\n interns. To attend events you must register online through\nmyFuture. From your homepage click on Events\, followed by\nInformation Sessions and Sel ect the information type from the\ndropdown menu and click on the search b utton. Please note that all\nrecruiters will be receiving a copy of the si gn-up sheet and they\ntypically take attendance. Therefore\, it is strongl y suggested that\nif you sign up for a firm tour\, that you honor your com mitment.\nFailure to show up for a firm tour is not looked upon favorably. \nYou should also peruse the workshop section under Events for any\naccoun ting related workshops being offered by MAS and Career\nServices.  Firm to urs will be available for sign-up on\nmyFuture as of September 3rd. \nSept . 12: MAS Accounting Cocktail from 6:00 pm\n- 9:00 pm at Marché Bonsecours \, attended by all the firms\nparticipating in the accounting recruitment\ , including those that\nopted not to offer tours. You MUST be there dresse d in business\nattire. Your MAS membership fee includes attendance at this \nCocktail (it must be paid for in advance).\n\nSept. 20: Applications are due at 12:00PM ( noon) - for\nQuebec\nA listing of all firms recruiting f or both permanent\nand summer positions will be available on the MAS Websi te as well\nas a description on how to apply to each firm. Similar to last \nyear\, it will no longer be necessary to PRINT CACEE forms to submit\nyo ur application.
