AQDC annual meeting and lunch time conference
Faculty members are invited to the Annual General Meeting of the Quebec Association of Comparative Law, which should last approximately 30 minutes and will allow members to discuss various management aspects of the Association and its activities.
Following that, Professor Vincent Forray, of McGill's Faculty of Law, will give a talk entitled Comparaisons en droit de la consommation. Éprouver la subversion (Comparisons in consumer law. Experiencing subversion).
Professor Forray will discuss, in comparative terms, the function of consumer law, in light of the specific context of Quebec law and certain foreign legal systems. (Please see French version of this posting for the abstract.)
His presentation will start at 12:30. A request for CLE accreditation has been made to the Barreau du Québec and the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
Refreshments will be served. This activity is free, but we request that you confirm your presence (Nathalie.Vezina [at] USherbrooke.ca), preferably before May 15.
