Montreal's Gay Village: A Public Lecture and Book Signing with Professor Donald Hinrichs

Please join us to celebrate the launch of Prof. Donald Hinrichs’ new book, Montreal’s Gay Village: The Story of a Unique Urban Neighborhood Through the Sociological Lens. Professor Hinrichs will be speaking about the vibrant neighborhood that serves as the locus of much of the social life of LGBTQ persons, and will be exploring it from a variety of vantage points to answer questions about its origin, name, residents, and more. The launch will be at the McGill Bookstore at 3420 McTavish on the 3rd floor, and will take place on April 4, 2012 at 5:30pm. Refreshments will be served.  This event is free and open to the public!
